Low-Level Custom Computer Design – Group Exploration & Open Lab

We will explore a potential new hardware project, and probe for some low-level knowledge about custom computer systems such as:

When do you need to write your own drivers?
What do minimum Linux hardware/circuit boards look like?
What is the role of the bootloader?

This is not a presentation, it’s a group exploration. We will ask the group questions, and see what information people have to share. Please come and share what you know, as we are entering more obscure areas of hardware/software development.
